A resident may request a certificate of residence or status by sending a signed letterhead or fax with the following information:
Australian resident’s full name
Resident’s residential address and Australian postal address if different
Tax File Number (TFN) and/or Australian Business Number (ABN)
The country intended for the certificate
the period for which the certificate is required
the number of required certificates.
